What to Expect


























 
Evaluations typically involve:

  • Completion of appointment Request form on this website or by phone
  
  • A one hour pre-evaluation appointment is often scheduled with parent/s and Dr. Norton.

     paperwork and here for directions
  
  • Completion of neuropsychological, or psycho-educational testing with child (typically requires 3 to 7 hours of testing in 1 to 2 sessions)
  
  • Questionnaires and rating scales completed by parents and current teachers 

  • Following the evaluation, a feedback conference is scheduled to discuss results, diagnoses (if any), educational and therapeutic recommendations.

Dr. Norton is available to attend school meetings to share evaluations results. 

Counseling and parent education is available as needed upon completion of the evaluation.
