DR. LAWRENCE NORTON
Pediatric Psychologist
Dr. Lawrence Norton holds
a doctorate in school
psychology with a specialization in child neuropsychology. He is a Licensed
Psychologist (AK 592) and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Norton's training in child neuropsychology includes doctoral level coursework as well as a clinical internship in neuropsychology completed at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Norton is board certified in school neuropsychology.
Dr. Norton has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in medical settings, private practice, and Alaskan schools. He has extensive experience with various neurodevelopmental and neurologically based disorders including dyslexia/learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, nonverbal learning disorder, developmental delays, behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and traumatic brain injury.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Norton is an adjunct professor of psychology with the University of Alaska and psychologist with Mat-Su Valley regional Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic Clinic.

Norton, Psy.S., LPC is a certified school psychologist and licensed professional counselor with over 20 years experience in Alaska. She has a Bachelors Degree in Education/Special Education, a Masters Degree in Human Development and a Specialist Degree in School Psychology. She has worked with elementary, middle and high school students, taught American Sign Language at the University level, and provided therapy for children and adults at South Central Counseling and currently in her private practice.
Anne specializes in helping children, adults and families facing difficult situations and those who experience disabilities, depression, anxiety, school or work stress and with military families.
Anne is fluent in American Sign Language. Direct therapy is available to deaf children and adults.
